December is almost over, and after using the Google Pixel 10 Pro as my daily driver for more than a month, I can finally say this with confidence — this is one of the smartest smartphones Google has ever made.
But let me be very clear right at the start.
If you are a hardcore gamer, this phone is not built for you.
If you care about AI features, camera quality, clean software, and long-term value, then the Pixel 10 Pro is on a completely different level.
This review is based on real usage, not just specs on paper.
Build Quality & Durability: Premium and Solid
The Google Pixel 10 Pro comes with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and yes — it actually feels reassuring in real life.
I’ve accidentally dropped this phone once, and despite the fall, there were no cracks. Both the front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which definitely helps.
The frame is made of aluminium, and while you may notice small scratches on the sides if it falls, the overall build feels extremely sturdy and premium.
The color I’m using is Moonstone, and honestly, the phone looks classy and minimal — exactly what you expect from a Pixel.
Display Experience: One of the Best You’ll See
The Pixel 10 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
This display is a joy to use.
You get:
- Roughly 2K resolution
- Excellent color accuracy
- 3300 nits peak brightness, which means outdoor visibility is never an issue
- Widevine L1 certification
Streaming content feels premium:
- YouTube supports 4K 60fps HDR
- Netflix supports HDR10 and spatial audio
Scrolling feels smooth, animations look fluid, and the in-display fingerprint scanner works fast and reliably.
Performance: Powerful, But With a Catch for Gamers
The Pixel 10 Pro is powered by the Google Tensor G5 (3nm) processor, paired with the Titan M2 security chip.
The variant tested:
- 16GB LPDDR5X RAM
- 256GB UFS 4.0 storage
- Read/write speeds cross 2Gbps
On AnTuTu, the score goes above 1,350,000+, which looks impressive.
But here’s the honest truth.
In CPU throttling tests, performance drops to 61% at peak, meaning the processor does throttle under sustained heavy load.
Gaming Performance
- BGMI runs at Smooth + Extreme (60fps)
- Gyroscope works perfectly
- Call of Duty supports 120fps
- Device does heat up during long gaming sessions
- Camera usage also generates noticeable heat
So yes, games are playable, but if your priority is high-FPS gaming for hours, there are better options.
Camera Setup: This Is Where Pixel Dominates
The Pixel 10 Pro has a triple rear camera setup:
- 50MP wide camera
- 48MP ultra-wide camera
- 48MP telephoto camera with 5X optical zoom
Video recording supports 4K at 60fps from:
- 1X
- 0.5X (ultra-wide)
- Front camera as well
The 42MP front camera comes with autofocus, which is rare and extremely useful.
Camera Highlights
- Excellent HDR in indoor and outdoor shots
- Natural skin tones
- Sharp portraits at 1X and 2X
- Selfies look great in both normal and portrait modes
100X Zoom & AI Enhancement
At 100X zoom, AI enhances text clarity extremely well.
Text becomes readable, backgrounds stay sharp, though people in the frame are only decently visible, not magically enhanced.
Night Mode
Night mode performance is impressive:
- 1X already looks good
- 2X looks even better, with enhanced clarity and readable text
Special Camera Features
- Best Take (fix closed eyes automatically)
- Camera Coach for guided photography
- Add Me feature works accurately
- Macro mode activates automatically near objects
- Audio Eraser removes background noise from videos very effectively
AI Features: This Is Pixel’s Biggest Strength
This is where the Pixel 10 Pro justifies its price.
With the phone, you get:
- 1 year of Google AI Pro subscription
- 2TB cloud storage
- Subscription value around ₹23,000–₹24,000, included free
Gemini Live & AI Tools
- Gemini can identify objects in real time
- AI Eraser works decently (Samsung still does it better)
- Gemini Nano Banana lets you generate creative images using voice commands
Magic Cue: Truly Useful AI
Magic Cue reads data from:
- Gmail
- Google Calendar
- Emails
- Travel tickets
Examples:
- Auto-generates SMS replies with exact meeting times
- Shows flight time and gate number directly on home screen
- Removes the hassle of checking emails at airports
Call-based Magic Cue exists but does not work consistently yet, even after testing in multiple languages.
Software & Updates: Clean and Future-Proof
Out of the box, the Pixel 10 Pro runs Android 16, completely clean.
No bloatware. No ads.
Google promises:
- 7 years of major Android updates
- 7 years of security patches
That means updates all the way up to Android 23.
This alone makes the phone a long-term investment.
Audio, Battery & Connectivity
- Dual stereo speakers sound loud and clear
- 4870mAh battery
- 30W wired charging
- 15W wireless charging
Battery life is good for a full day, but charging speed could be better considering the price.
Connectivity options include:
- Wi-Fi 7
- 23 5G bands
- Bluetooth 6.0
- NFC support
No IR blaster.
Price & Final Verdict
The Google Pixel 10 Pro is priced at ₹1,10,000, though offers can bring it close to ₹1,00,000.
Is it expensive? Yes.
Is it worth it? Depends on you.
Buy Pixel 10 Pro if:
- You want the best AI experience
- You care about camera quality
- You prefer clean Android
- You want long-term updates
Skip it if:
- You are a hardcore gamer
- You want ultra-fast charging
For AI, camera, and software intelligence, no Android phone currently matches the Pixel experience.
